We are looking for enthusiastic student members for our national SBO communication and marketing group!

About SBO

Together Blokje Omdenk aims to improve the mental health and quality of life of millennials by connecting them with nature. The Samen Blokje Omdenk platform offers millenials the tools to go outside in their own region or beyond.

About the vacancy

As a member of the communication & marketing group you will be involved in branding, advising and networking. You maintain the SBO platform, including creating blogs/videos/podcasts, and post media reports about SBO activities while increasing the impact and outreach of the social media. You will also get to know collaborations in business, make communication plans and look for strategic partners/influencers for the platform. You will work with other students and there will be an online group meeting about twice a month.


Main activities

  • SBO communication and marketing, including branding, taking into account

communication in Dutch and English; advice, networking, implementation

  • Establishing and updating the SBO communication plan and proposals for concrete

SBO communication activities

  • Execution of SBO communication and marketing activities, in particular the

increasing impact & outreach of SBO socials

  • Keeping the SBO platform attractive, including creating blogs, videos, podcasts,  etc.

  • Deciding on potential 'influencers' willing to commit to SBO and the

approaching those people

  • Reinforcing the profile of SBO among strategic partners, in particular

student associations and associations

  • Generating media reports about SBO and SBO activities

  • Exploring cooperation between the business community (including NS, Unilever, etc.)
